As you probably gathered by the name, R Dub is a Master DJ specializing in Slow Jams on 50 radio stations around the world. Most songs played on the Sunday Night Slow Jams sessions are dedicated  from listener's with a special meaning, and gives R Dub's audience a reason to come back every Sunday night.

R Dub has a rich history in the radio business going back to when he was only 15 years old. This was also the time he decided to host his radio show "Sunday Night Slow Jams" his career and some 19 years later, R Dub is still going stronger than ever.

With the success of the Sunday Night Slow Jams, R Dub set his sights higher establishing his own 24 hour a day radio station specializing in the same type of music. The list of radio stations now airing R Dub and the Sunday Night Slow Jams is very impressive and most likely will grow considerably after the Shark Tank air's this episodeRead More Here-->>>

Shark Tank Changes Rules

Shark Tank Show Changes #1 Rule

It's no secret the number one complaint for getting on the Shark Tank is the 2% equity or 5% royalty fee imposed on ALL contestants whether they get a deal with the Sharks or not. For obvious reasons this has prevented some of the bigger more established businesses from even trying to get on the Show. Well thanks in part (from what I hear) from the Sharks themselves, and the success of the Shark Tank as a whole, the producers are getting rid of this required stipulation. All future Shark Tank contestants no longer will be required to give up equity in their companies unless of course they make a deal with the Sharks.

This is Great News for future contestants but what about the 300+ past entrepreneurs that's already appeared on the Shark Tank Show? Obviously when Mark Burnett the Executive Producer for the Shark Tank first conceived the idea for the Show, taking a small percentage of each business, product or idea in exchange for what amounts to priceless publicity, was part of the over-all business plan to make Shark Tank Financially Successful. If you think about it, it's a great long term strategy that I'm sure has been a great investment for all parties involved. Add this to the Shark Tank's Very Successful Rating's on T.V. which draws lots of competition, and you have a Major Hit that's generating piles of cash.Read More Here-->>>

Fairy Tale Wishes
Therapy Aroma Sprays Seen on Shark Tank Season 5
O.K, I have to admit, at first thought I wasn't sure what to think about a Monster Repellent for Kids. But the more I learn about this Aroma Therapy Spay for Kids, the more it made perfect sense why the Monster Repellent will certainly help. To this day I still clearly remember being convinced there was a monster under my bed and if I got up, it was going to get me. Would it of helped if my Mom had a bottle of Monster Repellent Spray from Fairy Tale Wishes? I'm not sure because I was completely convinced the boogie monster was under there, but I'm sure I would've felt a lot better knowing I had a repellent just in case. This will definitely be an exciting new episode of the Shark Tank Show seeing if the monster repellent can snag a Shark.

Debbie Glackman the owner of Fairy Tale Wishes took this unique idea for Monster Repellent and expanded the product line to include a Sweet Dreams Spray, Happy Camper Spray, Tooth Fairy Spray and my favorite, the Super Hero Spray.

Shark Tank Season 5, episode 503
Christopher Johnson
Inventor of "Rapid Ramen"
Having College Student's on the Shark Tank with new products, inventions or businesses is nothing new. But having a College Student that invented a new product specifically for students is. Christopher Johnson is the inventor and soon-to-be Shark Tank Star who came up with a better way to cook the #1 meal found in most dorm rooms which is Top Ramen. While studying at the University of California Davis, Johnson realized he could cook Top Ramen in half the time using a microwave by simply changing the way the bowl was shaped. With a little experimenting and a lot of hard work that followed, the Rapid Romen Cooker was born.

101 Creative Ways To
Cook Top Ramen
While doing a little research on the Rapid Ramen, I must say I've never thought about what goes into making a perfect Top Ramen Meal. But Christopher Johnson sure has and seems to of perfected exactly what it takes to make Top Ramen in half the time and only using half the water recommended on the directions.

Piggy Back Carrier For Kids - Season 5 - Episode 5 - Week 3

Freeloader Child Carrier
Seen on Shark Tank Season 5
If you're kids are getting a little big for the traditional child carrier's on the market, but you still love asking long hikes out in the woods, along the beach or sightseeing while on vacation, then My Freeloader Child Carrier may be just the solution you're looking for. Coming from someone that's always taken extremely long walks when something is on my mind, and raising two Boys on my own since they were very young, the My Freeloader Child Carrier could have come in handy multiple times.

We had our routine down pact; the kids would walk on their own until the first one started getting tired. It was more of a game so neither wanted to give in first, and as a result sometimes we'd end up several  miles away somewhere up in the Mountains usually resulting in a tie. This is where the piggy back rides start on our way back from whatever trail we were on at the time. It was a nice break for them as we made our way back to the vehicle, but not so much for Dear Ole Dad that never got a break most of the way. Who would've thought combining a traditional child carrier with a bicycle type seat would be the answer as the perfect way to give kids a piggy back ride?Read More Here-->>>

Kookn Kap Girls Coming To
The Shark Tank Show
With a slogan like "Hair smells like crap? Get a Kap", you can be sure the Sharks will have their hands full with the Kook n Kap Gals. Juli Deveau and Ozma Khan are coming into the Shark Tank with a stylish cooking cap thousands of Shark Tank Fans are going to love. This Chef's Hat not only keeps hair from getting into your food while cooking, it also keeps the smell the food from getting into your hair.

As far as the look and style of the Kookn Kap goes, it's a little different from the traditional Cooking Hat, but I like it. I think it looks good on the Ladies, but not so much on the guys in their commercial. Juli and Ozma posted a picture on FaceBook of Kevin O'Leary wearing a Kookn Kap and he doesn't seem to mind, but something tells me the target market definitely favors the ladies.Read More Here-->>>

Shark Tank Episode 505

Shark Tank Season 5 - Episode 505 (Week 2)

episode 505, week 2 w Lori Greiner
Lori Greiner Blowing Into The
Breathometer Breathalyzer App
The Sharks are wasting no time showing their willingness to offer the big bucks if your business model has what it takes. Already in the second week of the Shark Tank Show, the Sharks will make their first $1 million dollar offer on tonight's episode.

A lot of the episodes seem to have a theme with at least a few contestants, but in episode 505 the four businesses couldn't be farther apart. Starting with the newest specialty food product the Mango Mango Preserver's, to the Man Medal's Business which should be entertaining to say the least. Then we have an entrepreneur that's made a very impressive line of dog clothes and an App that transforms into a breathalyzer. Who gets the million dollar offer in tonight's episode? There are a few telling signs in the previews, but we'll all have to wait and see if they actually do get a deal with any of the Sharks.

 Mango Mango Preserves

I have a feeling the three Mango Mango Ladies are going to be a Big Hit in tonight's episode. With several very successful specialty food products already seen on the Shark Tank, this one has all the ingredients to follow in their footsteps. I just hope they have enough Mango's to fulfill all the orders they will be getting after the Shark Tank Effect comes knocking on their door.

Smartphone Breathalyzer App
Seen on Shark Tank Season 5
It's really amazing how far the App Business has come in just that last few years. But making a functional working Breathalyzer App still seems like science fiction, right? I mean how can you make an App that reads your Blood Alcohol Content with stunning accuracy?

To take this smart phone app a step further, the Breathometer not only is a reliable breathalyzer, it's also a "smart" breathalyzer that can track your progress and let you know when it's safe to drive. With a retail price of only $49, this small little Breathometer can potentially save you thousands of dollars from getting a DUI, or a great deal more if you were also involved in an accident.

Earlier this year on March 13, 2013, Charles Michael Yim decided to raise the needed capital for developing the Breathometer Breathalyzer App using Indiegogo as the preferred Crowd Funding Platform. Yim set a reasonable goal at $25k which was easily achieved way a head f schedule By the time the crowdfunding campaign was over, the Breathometer raised $138,000.00 from over 3800 contributors.

Charles Michael Yim is no stranger developing new technology or taking a startup company from an idea, to being acquired by a large conglomerate which the Sharks are going to love. Yim was the founder and CEO of Chatterfly which was started back in 2010 and successfully raised $1 million seed money in February 2011. Later that year in December 2011, Chatterfly was acquired by Plum District (a Kleiner Perkins Co.) who was only interested in the technology to further grow their version of the Daily Deals Business.Read More Here-->>>

Kane & Couture Dog Accessories

Kane and Couture on Shark Tank Season 5

High Fashion Dog Accessories - Episode 505 - Week 2 - 9-27-2013

If you're a Dog Lover that loves dressing up your pets in style, then you're going to love what Kane and Couture has to offer. Pet apparel and fashion expert Amber Lee Kane is coming to the Shark Tank Friday Night with a very impressive line of high quality dog accessories. Some of the products include dog collars, leashes, harnesses, dresses, shirts and hoodie's all designed to make an instant fashion statement for you and your best furry friend.

I still remember the first time I seen a dog wearing a sweater my Grandma knitted for her poodle. I thought why on earth are you dressing up your dog that matched a dress she was wearing?  Her response was "because she looks so cute" and besides, "there's 2 feet of snow outside and it helps keep her dog warm in the winter". That was a good enough answer, but seeing a dog wearing a sweater for the first time, I still thought my grandma may of fell off her rocker. Little did I know that High Quality Dog Clothes and Accessories would grow into a multi-million dollar market.

So how do you start a successful Event Planning Business and turn one of your specialties into a business of its own?  Just ask Lakesha Brown-Renfro, Tanecia Willis and Nzinga Teule-Hekima who are coming to the Shark Tank with their "Mango Mango" Mango Preserves.

There's no doubt the Specialty Foods Business is booming which is probably why the producers of the Shark Tank love to see these types of businesses featured on the show. It also helps if the contestants really love their product and there is little doubt  these three Entrepreneurs Love the Mango Business. Not only have they created a very successful event planning business 'Simply Panache', they took their #1 most requested food product and turned it into a full-fledged business that was good enough to make it on the #1 Business Reality Show in History.

According to the A Mango Party website the 'Mango Mango' Mango Preserves are currently available in approx. 10 retail stores throughout the Virginia area as we'll as available to order online. The Mango Preserves are carefully made in small batches using four natural ingredient's consisting of mango's, lime juice, sugar and vanilla. There's no artificial coloring, flavors or preservatives added to their recipe which might help in the shelf life, but would take away in the quality and taste of the finished product.

Shark Tank Season 5 Premiere Recap

Shark Tank Season 5 -Week 1 Recap

Update after the Shark Tank show 9/20/2013
After waiting all summer long for Shark Tank Season 5 to begin it's finally here with week 1 in the record books. Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner made their first appearance together while Daymond John took the night off to watch them battle it out. With a few clear winners and one that could easily make Shark Tank's Most Successful List, Season 5 got off to a great start.

Postcard on the Run

First up in the Shark Tank Season 5 Premiere was Josh Brooks and the Postcard on the Run Business. Josh came into the Tank looking for a $300k investment in exchange for 5% of his instant postcard sending business. For only $2.49 you can take any photo taken on your smart phone and turn it into a postcard set to anyone in the world. It's a great idea that's already had two successful rounds of investing raising $1.6 million in startup capital.

Celebrity Teen Star Selina Gomez has invested in both rounds with a valuation of $6 million, the same valuation being offered to the Sharks. With only $186k left in the bank, Mark Cuban says "your screwed" while going out. Brooks needs the investment from the Sharks to keep the business afloat even though they have $450k in sales, but is not willing to negotiate the $6 million valuation. Robert Herjevic who has a few teenagers of his own, sees the same value in this business that I did in their featured article. After an extremely impressive set of negotiations, Herjevic invests $300k for 7.5% of the Postcard on the Run Business settling on a $4 million dollar valuation.

Rolo Doc

Rolo Doc on Shark Tank

Social Network App for Doctors - Season 5 - Episode 504

Rolo Doc Rolodex App
RoloDoc App Seen on Shark Tank Show Season 5 Premiere
Well what can I say other than the two Doctors fooled the Shark Tank Success Blog. My first impression (always go with your first impression) when trying to uncover who was the last contestant not taking advantage of their pre-Shark Tank Show appearance was for a Doctors App. Who would've thought there would be two other doctors that are also brothers, live in the same State and also started an online business for doctors and patients? I may of picked the wrong Doctors that "really do have a cool social network for patients helping other patients" instead of a Doctors App that connects Physicians, Patients, Pharmacists and Nurses in the form of a Virtual Rolodex App.

It's very interesting what some entrepreneurs do when they get the final call from Shark Tank Producers saying they have beat the odds and will be featured on the show. After waiting several months without telling anyone what happened with the Sharks, and still under contract with ABC, you're now free to tell the world that your Business/Product is going to be on the Best Business Reality Show in History. Some contestants post on their Facebook pages and light up the Twitter feeds, while others take it a step further and get a hold of the Local News Channel always interested in a local business that's made it on the Shark Tank Show. Then there's a small percentage of entrepreneurs that choose not to take advantage of any promoting before the Shark Tank Show. Statistically speaking, this group of entrepreneurs is still batting a perfect 1000 for Not getting a deal on the show, and the Rolo Doc would be no exception.

$400 Million Financial Advice From The Sharks

Financial Advice From All The Sharks

In light of last night's $400 million Power Ball Jackpot, a very wise and smart reporter who had access of all the Sharks still filming season 5, asks them for financial advice if you win the $400 million dollar prize. With a combined net worth estimated over $5 billion, all 6 of the Sharks on the Shark Tank Show took turns giving free financial advice.

When Mark Cuban was asked "what would your advice be if someone were to win the powerball?", with His reply being "put it in the bank" without even thinking about it. Mark goes on to say "whenever you get a large sum of money fast, then all kinds of things happen that you never anticipate". After settling up with Uncle Sam, you will also have a lot more Best Friends and a lot of people wanting to give you advise on how to spend all this money. Sure, if you just have your money sitting in the Bank you're not going to make any interest to speak of these days, but your money is "safe" and not going to disappear. Besides after taxes you will have around $200 million free and clear, so how much more money do you need to make in the short term anyway? Marks main advise is theirs only one goal and that's to "keep it". (Great Advice)

Daymond John's financial advice is if you win the lottery, #1 don't tell anyone

Shark Tank Season 5
Medals For Men Doing Chores - Week 2 - Episode 505

Have you ever done household chores around the house and like a little recognition for a job well done? Has your wife or girlfriend ever said to you "What, do you want a medal for doing that"? Well James O'Brian's wife asked him just that, and yes, he really did want a medal. James came up with 5 medals in fact, and he's bringing them to the Shark Tank Show in the second week of season 5.

My first impression when I first seen The Man Medals was I'm sure there's a niche market for this product, especially with couples that have been together for a looong time. But is this market big enough to get any of the Sharks to invest in these specialty medals specifically for men?

According to the website there's a total of 6 Man Medals available including I picked up my dirty clothes, I put the toilet seat down, I took the garbage out, I ran the vacuum cleaner, I asked for directions and I put the toilet paper roll on. My second impression was there seems to be some really good medals missing from this list. What about a medal for doing the dishes, one of my least favorite chores?

How about a new medal for doing the laundry or one for the bedroom, that is sure to get a lot of action if ya know what I mean. I would much rather "earn" the bedroom medal than the medal for taking the trash out.

Patients Like Me

Patients Like Me on Shark Tank

Online Patient Network - Season 5 - Week 1

Patient Network seen on the Shark Tank Show in season 5 premiere
Online Patient Network "Patients Like Me"
on Shark Tank Season 5 Premiere Show
If there was ever a great idea on the Shark Tank Show that has the potential to changes lives for the better, Patients Like Me is definitely the "One". When I first read ABC's press release for the Season 5 premiere which gives you very little clues who the new contestants are, I assumed Patients Like Me was a new Doctors App to help them stay in contact with their patients. As good of an idea that I imagined, (any App builders out there?) it doesn't even come close to what Patients Like Me could do to help patients in a way unimaginable before the computer age.

Patients Like Me is a social community with over 220,000 registered members all helping each other with a variety of Medical complications. No matter whom you are or what you have been diagnosed with, there's other patients like you going through the same thing. This entire "free" site not only puts you in touch with other patients, it's also a support system for your loved ones to compare notes and make sure you're getting the best treatment.

This niche social site was started by two Brothers Jamie and Ben Heywood who both are Doctors and MIT Graduates, started Patients Like Me after their own brother Stephen was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease. Sure there's lots of information online, but there was no single place where patients and their families could go and discuss their medical condition. According to the Patients Like Me Website, there's now over 2000 medical conditions now covered and over 1 million treatment & symptom reports available. PatientsLikeMe is also starting an Open Research Exchange where researchers, clinicians, academics and patients can interact and develop more improved outcomes by comparing notes in real time.

So how will "Patients Like Me" do inside the Shark Tank?

10 Worst Shark Tank Pitches

Unsuccessful Shark Tank Pitches

As an avid reader of Business Insider, I thought this was an interesting article they did on the 10 Most Horrible Shark Tank Pitches. It's more of a picture gallery than an article, so I thought I'd find out how these Entrepreneurs are doing today. Just because you get on the Shark Tank Show and get priceless publicity seen by millions of viewers, does not always mean your invention will be successful. A few of Entrepreneurs worst Shark Tank pitches have failed, while a few have seen great success even though the Sharks did not invest in them.

Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder

I was actually "shocked" the Squirrel Boss made Business Insider's list of worst pitches on the Shark Tank. Bird feed is expensive these days especially when your feeding the neighborhood squirrels making their daily rounds. Considering the alternative to extinguish these little critters, why not just train them with a little shock to stay away from your bird feeder? The Squirrel Boss may keep squirrels away by remotely shocking them, but they also keep Sharks away from investing in them when you shock them as we'll.

Man Candle

WHAT? The Man Candle made the list of worst Shark Tank pitches? Johnson Bailey came up with this clever idea that all Man Caves need a manly smell with none of those perfume scented candles. Is it a coincidence that his best-selling Man Candle is the "Fart Candle"?Read More Here-->>>

"Shark Tank Week" #1 in Ratings

Shark Tank Week Shatters Rating

There's been a lot of talk about changing the normal Shark Tank Friday Night time slot on ABC to a more preferred time. But as Shark Tank Week is proving showing some of the best reruns, it doesn't matter which night they air the show; it still beats everything else on TV.

With extreme competition last night from NBC's new show hosted by Ryan Seacrest "Million Second Quiz" that's making its premiere showing this week, Shark Tank was able to beat the ratings by double digit numbers on the third night.

Fox's "X-Factor" also had its season premiere last night, but was no competition for The Shark Tank Show. Not even a new episode of "Big Brother" was able to come close to the rating's posted last night. Shark Tank clearly was the #1 Show beating all the competition on a Wednesday night.

In fact, Day 4 of "Shark Tank Week" has gained viewers every single night so far this week with yesterday's number's being the highest it's been in over 4 months. Considering the best ratings before last night was Season 4 Finale, this is a very impressive record indeed. It's one of the few shows I can watch multiple times and always seem to learn something new.

Can Shark Tank keep this record going and improve on the numbers featuring Daymond John's favorite episode tonight? Tonight's episode was the season 3 finale and the episode when I became a big fan of Daymond John. I have seen every Shark Tank Show ever produced and some seem to stand right out of the crowd.  Tonight's Show is definitely one of them!

My money's on Tonight's Shark Tank Week will improve it's already impressive number's and be the #1 in the ratings yet again. No doubt about it, Shark Tank is Definitely the #1 Reality Business Show ever seen on T.V.

Does anyone know what time it is? It's Shark Tank Time! Yeees, Shark Tank Season 5 starts next Friday 9/20/2013 at 9.p.m. eastern. First off I'd like to thank all the Sharks for coming back from a very successful season 4 where they shattered all previous records. Each and every one of you have become Stars in your own right and it's because of you the Shark Tank has become so successful. Yes, that even goes for Mr. Wonderful that I have grown to like and value his opinion more than ever before. Shark Tank would be a completely different show without you Kevin.

One things for sure, the producers are mixing up the show and creating more competition amongst the Sharks which should result in better offers for the contestants. The Season 5 premiere will also make Shark Tank History when both Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner will appear on the Shark Tank together. I can only imagine some of the one liners we are bound to hear that's been building up for years. We also have some new money from two new billionaire's Steve Tisch and John Paul DeJornia which is sure to add to a very successful record year.

For the most part Specialty Food products seen on the Shark Tank have become very successful, so why not add gourmet pickles to the list. Not just any ole pickle recipe, but a 100 year old secret family recipe passed down from Grandma Toots herself. With two very distinct flavors, "Mrs. Pickles" which is a sweet and sour pickle, and the "Hot Mama" with a little jalapeno added to spice things up, Lynnae's Gourmet Pickle's have been selling like hotcakes.

Lynnae's Gourmet Pickle Business was started by Lynnae Schneller and Aly Cullinane from Tacoma, Washington. The business began in 2011 and mostly sold within the local market before getting a lot of major national attention. Lynnae and Aly so far have been featured in Oprah, Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest, Ladies Home Journal, USA Today, CNN and now The Shark Tank Show.Read More Here-->>>

Sweet Ballz -Cake Balls
Season Premiere
Shark Tank Season 5
With a name like Sweet Ballz, you best have some big balls to back it up if you're going on the Shark Tank Show. James McDonald is the man behind Sweet Ballz which makes some of the sweetest cake balls you have ever tasted. In fact McDonald's Ballz are so good they are already available in over 5000 stores.

According to the Sweet Balls website, they are available in over 4000 7-11 Stores which will certainly add a lot of credibility to the cake ball business. Adding an additional 1000 store is enough to sweeten this deal even further and possibly enough too get the Sharks to invest in this growing company.

But my question would be with already making thousands of sweet ballz on a daily basis, why are they not available online? If Shark Tank contestants can sell cakes and even ice cream online to coincide with their appearance, why can't you sell Cake Balls? Hard telling how much this will cost the bottom line in a missed opportunity after 7+ million people see the Sweet Balls on National TV. Who knows, maybe James will read this and still have enough time putting together a "Shark Tank Special" available online before Season 5 premiere begins.

Celebrity Star Selina Gomez
The producers are wasting no time getting Shark Tank Season 5 kicked off with some great products along with a few celebrities that have invested in them. PostCard On The Run is another App featured on the show where you can take any picture from your smart phone, have it made into a postcard and sent anywhere in the world. In addition, you can also add audio and video via a scan bar or website link.

The Post Card On The Run Business has already seen a great deal of success prior to being featured on the Shark Tank, but after season 5 premiere's, something tells me this company is about to get a whole lot more valuable.

Prior to the filming for episode 504, Postcard On The Runs owner Josh Brooks has already raised $1.6 million in two rounds of financing. The last round was held in 2011 when Josh raised an additional $750k including an investment from Celebrity Selena Gomez. This seems to be a great match as Gomez is not only an investor, but really likes the product and has been active promoting the product. With over 16 million followers on Twitter (geese), Selena would certainly make a great business partner for getting your product noticed.Read More Here-->>>

Shark Tank Week Schedule

It's FINALLY Here! Shark Tank Week begins tonight at 8p.m. and will be on every night for the next 6 nights in a row. Yes I know these are more re-runs leading into Shark Tank Season 5 which begins exactly one week after "Shark Tank Week" ends, but these episodes are hand-picked by the Sharks themselves. Each of the "old" Sharks picked their favorite episode and each night is dedicated to their favorite they personally invested in.

Shark Tank Week begins with the Shark who has invested in the most entrepreneurs as well as the most money invested to date. Mark Cuban's pick for Shark Tank Week is the Surf Set Fitness Business which teaches you how to surf while indoors.

Tonight's Shark Tank Show

One of the Best Shark Tank Episodes #402 Update

Tonights Shark Tank Show
Shark Tank Season 4
Week 1
Episode 402
Tonight's Shark Tank Show is perhaps one of the best episodes any Entrepreneur can learn a great deal from. What does is take to get all 5 Sharks interested in the same product that they all  invest together? How do you have a solid offer from a billionaire Shark and then somehow let him get away? In the featured update also happens to be one of Lori Greiner's simplest, yet one of the most successful product's she has invested in.

Buggy Beds

The Buggy Beds Bug Traps is a perfect example of what "to do" if you want to make a successful deal on the Shark Tank.  Maria Curcio and business partner Veronica Periongo came in prepared as anyone and managed to get all 5 Sharks interested in the bug trap business. Having already turned down a $5 million dollar offer, Maria and Veronica were convinced they had a true winner on their hands and wern't interested in negotiating as much as the Sharks would have liked them to. Staying calm, cool and collective, the pair made shark Tank History when they successfully secured a deal with all 5 Sharks who each have a 5 % stake in this multi-million dollar business.

The AVE Venice

The AVE Venice on Shark Tank

Custom Screen Printing - Season 3 Episode 306 Update
custom screen printing season 3
The Ave Venice Now Custom Prints On
Van's Slip On's

After watching a few of The Ave Venice video''s on You Tube, I must say I'm impressed with what's now possible to custom screen print on. Nick Romero the owner of  The Ave based out of Venice, California, has taken this industry to a whole new level which you can now custom create just about anything. If you ever want a one-of-a-kind custom pair of tennis shoes for instances, Romero is definitely the man to talk to. Anything you can imagine can be turned into a wearable form of art at his screen printing business.

Nick came into the Shark Tank seeking $125,000.00 for a 15% equity stake in his custom printing business. Because everything is custom made for the customer, this helps keep costs down until the order is placed on a variety of t-shirts, tennis shoes and hats ready to be made into "your" work of art. At the time Romero was in front of the Sharks, he had already done $570k his first year in business generating $150k in profit.

As good of an idea as this is, the Sharks weren't biting as they all decided not to make any offers in The Ave Venice business. Mark Cuban does acknowledge Nick has a unique printing process, but apparently not enough to secure a patent on or be copied from competitors.

The Swilt

The Swilt on Shark Tank Update

Sweater + Quilt = The Swilt
sweater plus a quilt equal a Swilt
Ivori Tennelle Inventor of The Swilt Sweater
What do you get when you combine a sweater and a quilt? Why you get The Swilt invented by Ivori Tennelle. You wear The Swilt just like a sweatshirt which converts into a head-to-toe blanket in seconds. In addition, Ivori has included foot pockets with water resistant nylon material making this sweater plus a quilt quite an interesting invention.

Ivori Tennelle came into the Shark Tank asking $30,000.00 in exchange for a 35% equity stake in The Swilt Business. At that time she's only sold 100 units in the local marketplace but wants to expand the Business online and needs the Sharks help optimizing the Website.

Personally I like this idea and can see a big demand from Mom's sitting on the sideline's during a cold sports event. But I also see a bigger market than keeping The Swilt defined in such a narrow niche. For instance if one was made with a water proof/ wind proof outer lining that was made more like a jacket than a sweater. Outdoor enthusiasts would love this idea as an excellent addition to their Survival Pack when weight and bulk is always an issue. If you have ever spent an unexpected night or two in the woods, (I have) then it's easy to see a product such as The Swilt would be a great item to always have just in case. Read More Here-->>>
