  Dura-Tent Outdoor Table Topis a small tent designed specifically for your food when outdoors. Leaving food on the picnic table when out camping or on a picnic has been common place for as long as I can remember. As the Bar-B-Que is grilling away you spread all the condiments, chips and potato salad conveniently around the picnic table for easy access. No big deal, right? We'll not according to Dan Rothwell, the owner and inventor of the Dura Tent.

 After a lot of research, Dan discovered that the flies of today are actually more of a health risk then ever before. Scientist's from several universities concluded in their studies that flies are showing a higher percentage of being carriers of  E. Coli and MRSA. Even more interesting, and something I was not aware of, is 100% of ALL flies carry a combination of over a million strains of bacteria. It only takes 100 of these spores to be deadly in youths and seniors. The rest of the population can become seriously ill through ingesting this bacteria.

 Megan Gage the owner of Hot Tot Hair Products has one inspiring story to tell to all aspiring entrepreneurs. What started out from a Google search on environmentally friendly shampoo for her new born Son, ultimately ends her on the biggest business stage in U.S. History, The Shark Tank Show. After researching what goes into some of the shampoo used for kids, Gage knew she could come up with a better product. Not only a new healthier shampoo for kids but a brand new fragrance which was one of the key ingredients in her success.

After a Google Search for private label hair care products put Gage on the right track, it wasn't long before she was searching for a cosmetic company to design her own shampoo. Before giving birth to her first child and becoming a stay at home mom, Megan was a social worker with no previous experience in the hair care industry. They finally found a formulator in Canada and began the process late in 2010. It wasn't until April of 2011 until Gage finally had samples of her new hair care products.

 So what's it take to get on the Shark Tank Show? Is your idea good enough to get past the producers and get in front of the Sharks? There is a lot of very good ideas and unique inventions I run into on a daily basis and every once in a while one screams out that this needs to be on the Shark Tank Show.

I actually found Flipzles thanks to a comment that Vicki made on the "How To get On the Shark Tank Show" article. After reading her comment I just had to find out what a Flipzel is and why she doesn't think her product might not be good enough for the Sharks. Boy was I surprised.

An episode that aired on Friday the 13th and now again on 12/21/12, the day the world is suppose to end. Let's hope we fair better then these contestant's in which non of them were able to make a deal. A statistic that has only happened a few times in Shark Tank History.
